Originally from Chicago, Lisa is the founding partner of The Tessler Group with RE/MAX Fine Properties. With over ten years of Realtor experience in the Valley, Lisa saw the opportunity to build something new – a boutique style realty service built on the foundation of personalization, strong knowledge of the community, strong negotiation skills, and the passion to providing excellent service. Focused on the individual customer rather than the transaction. “As a former RN, I understand the stress associated with change and I know how challenging a move can be. That’s why our goal is to meet your expectations at every step in the process. By shunning the ‘big box’ realty structure, I’m able to focus on your needs and your dreams, with the support you’d expect from one of the most respected REALTORS in the Valley. Whether you’re looking to find your luxury dream or bring your home to market, I’ll customize a marketing approach to ensure the best experience possible.”
Lisa began her career in the industry working for a family owned property management business. In ‘95 she began working at Southeast Valley Regional Area of REALTORS in Mesa Arizona for Real Mart (SEVRAR) as a store manager. At SEVRAR she was responsible for providing administrative support to all the valley’s realtors. Within two years she was able to expand the business from ten vendors to over 270, greatly exceeding expectations. Lisa went on to work for American Home Maintenance in ‘98 to, among other duties, form business relationships with Home Depot. By 2012 she helped secure contracts worth over 25 million in revenue (a 10-fold increase in revenue) and expand sales into 5 states while ultimately becoming Home Depots largest ticket item to date of $6,920. Responsibilities at American Home included running daily operations, payroll, overall sales, hiring and firing, meeting monthly budget/goals and overseeing 150 employees and seven managers. Lisa was instrumental in rebranding the company to Orangutan Home Services, all the while maintaining a healthy partnership with Home Depot and overseeing the expansion of the National Program. Lisa earned her real estate agent’s license in 2004 and has since conducted a variety of transactions, including the buying and selling of new and used residential and commercial properties. Just outside of Scottsdale, perched into the side of a mountain, Lisa also designed and oversaw the construction of her own luxury family castle from the ground up.
When not meeting with clients, Lisa spends her time raising four unique and wonderful kids (one girl and three boys) and helping her supportive and loving husband Jordy, co-founder and President of highly successful Orangutan Home Services. She is also very involved with many community support groups and prominent foundations associated with her kid’s schools and many interests. Her passion and drive have led her to volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club, Phoenix Children Miracle Network, Susan G. Komen, Phoenix Zoo, Home Depot, Scottsdale AYS Firebird Football (also volunteers as Football Mom), Brophy College Preparatory, Notre Dame Preparatory, and University of Arizona. She also enjoys decorating, reading, dancing, cooking, attending pure barre, and participating in an assortment of other outdoor activities.
